GRATEFUL: TRUMP’S FIGHT FOR AMERICAN GLORY IS SOMETHING TO BE THANKFUL FOR

RSB NETWORK - Summer Lane - NOV 22, 2022

“The world has not yet seen the true glory of what this nation can be,” President Trump told the nation during his 2024 campaign announcement speech in November. He reminded the country that the establishment of Washington politics wanted to “silence us, but we will not let them do it.”

As 2022 slowly ends and the holiday season begins, proud American citizens are worried about their country.

Inflation is closing in. War in Eastern Europe rages on. Free speech is under assault.

Joe Biden’s America has introduced an unprecedented era of America fatigue and failure. Whether it’s capsizing domestic energy production, snarling supply chains for goods and supplies, or continually forking over billions of dollars to Ukraine instead of tending to the needs of U.S. citizens, one thing is certain: America has never been so abused on the world stage.

“We will again put America first,” Trump said in his November speech. “…We will win because we will fight with every measure of our strength and every measure of our energy to lift up the working men and working women of this nation.”

While 2022 has been a difficult year for everyone, President Trump’s dedication to persevere for the cause of American liberty and glory is something that we can all be grateful for.

Without Trump, millions of citizens would be unaware of the rampant corruption in Washington. Today, we stand ready, willing, and able to hold our elected representatives and the U.S. federal government accountable for their egregious usurpations on our Constitutional rights – because a single Washington outsider, President Donald Trump, taught us how.

Trump taught us how to fight back

Trump burst onto the political scene when he ran for president in 2016, speaking his mind and utilizing the power of social media to personally reach millions of American voters. GOP gubernatorial nominee in Arizona, Kari Lake, said earlier this year that the GOP was on “life support” before Trump. “Fast forward to 2022 – citizens from every corner of our republic have stepped up to join him,” she continued. “I am honored to count myself among them. I hope you are too.”

Trump’s no-holds-barred approach to politics highlighted insipid weakness within the Republican Party, revealing devilish political duplicity in once revered “conservatives” like former President George W. Bush.

Trump dismantled the GOP as we know it, unafraid to take aim at D.C. aristocracy and declaring in his inauguration speech that the threshold for political behavior was about to change.

“For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost,” he said. “…That all changes – starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you. It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.”

Trump gave Americans a piercing wakeup call: We are a republic guided by the people, not the establishment.

Trump exposed corruption at home and in the media

When Trump campaigned in 2016 to “drain the swamp,” few Americans could imagine the full impact of what that meant. The term “deep state” was a little-known descriptor before the Trump administration, and now, millions of citizens use the term daily to describe the dirty underbelly of federal and state politics.

“It was during the Trump Administration that the ‘Deep State’ corruption, and pure hatred of our Country, was fully EXPOSED – No longer just a nasty myth, concept or idea,” Trump wrote in October on Truth Social. “This is yet another great achievement, but something must now be done to rid us of this Cancer that is purposely destroying our Nation.”

During his presidency, Trump told “60 Minutes” that Washington D.C. was “vicious.” He remarked, “I always used to say the toughest people are Manhattan real estate guys…now I say they’re babies. The political people [are the toughest]. This is the most deceptive, vicious world. It is vicious, it’s full of lies, deceit, and deception.

He added, “I never knew how dishonest the media was.”

Americans today trust the government and the legacy media less than ever. A recent poll from Gallup found that only 34 percent of Americans have a “great deal” of trust in mass media, and only seven percent said they had a “great deal” of trust in it.

Trump is also the first and only sitting president of the United States to be censored by social media giants like Twitter and Facebook in 2021, drawing the ire of millions of Americans – and highlighting a unilateral anti-free speech agenda shared by corporate behemoths and federal entities.

Republican Attorney General of Missouri Eric Schmitt filed a landmark lawsuit earlier this year against top officials in the Biden administration for “colluding with social media companies to censor free speech.”

The mainstream media and the corrupt political establishment are one and the same, and thanks to Trump, the whole country can now clearly see how debased our once-trusted institutions really are.

A stark contrast

President Trump gave Americans something special to look at. Under his administration, the economy flourished, the wall at the southern border was being built, the military was strong, and the United States was respected on the world stage. We had four years of peace under President Trump.

Four years of Trump’s leadership handed Americans the blueprint for success at home and abroad. We can be thankful for his willingness to step into the political fray and do battle with the mainstream media, entrenched D.C. interest groups and career politicians for the sake of individual liberty.

We can be thankful that President Trump, against all odds, is willing to run for president again in 2024. He doesn’t have to. He doesn’t need to.

Yet here he is, fighting to reclaim what was taken from all of us in the wake of a disastrously “rigged and stolen” presidential election.

As Americans who sorely miss a leader who put our country first, his return to the White House is truly anticipated and will be forever appreciated.
