Researchers at Johns Hopkins University just concluded one of the most important studies of the last several years.
In a bombshell new paper, the doctors at Johns Hopkins revealed that data showed COVID lockdowns did nothing to significantly decrease coronavirus death rates and instead imposed severe social and economic costs on the American people.
“While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted,” the paper announcing the study’s findings read.
The Johns Hopkins researchers added that in the future, lockdowns should be avoided.
“In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument,” the paper continued.
Researchers explained how they combed through thousands of studies on lockdowns to discover that shutting down essential businesses had a negligible effect on COVID deaths.
