The FBI siege of Donald Trump’s property took another strange turn.
Now the FBI is running a massive coverup to conceal the truth from the American people.
And Donald Trump called the FBI’s bluff and Merrick Garland wants to hide this document from you.
In a legal filing on Monday, the Department of Justice announced it opposed the release of the underlying affidavit that would show the evidence presented to the left-wing anti-Trump judge who signed the FBI’s politically motivated search warrant.
“Disclosure of the government’s affidavit at this stage would also likely chill future cooperation by witnesses whose assistance may be sought as this investigation progresses, as well as in other high-profile investigations,” the Justice Department wrote. “The fact that this investigation implicates highly classified materials further underscores the need to protect the integrity of the investigation and exacerbates the potential harm if information is disclosed to the public prematurely or improperly.”
But while the Biden administration opposes releasing the affidavit, Deep States agents leaked details from the affidavit to the Fake News Media to try and make Donald Trump look bad.
The Washington Post published an unsubstantiated rumor that Donald Trump stole the nation’s nuclear secrets.
Trump wasn’t going to let the FBI get away with this rogue behavior.
On Truth Social, Trump ripped the FBI for the East German-style raid it conducted and called on the Department of Justice to put its cards on the table and release the underlying affidavit.
“There is no way to justify the unannounced RAID of Mar-a-Lago, the home of the 45th President of the United States (who got more votes, by far, than any sitting President in the history of our Country!), by a very large number of gun toting FBI Agents, and the Department of ‘Justice’ but, in the interest of TRANSPARENCY, I call for the immediate release of the completely Unredacted Affidavit pertaining to this horrible and shocking BREAK-IN. Also, the Judge on this case should recuse!” Trump wrote.
The FBI and Department of Justice do not want to release the affidavit because it is likely another Steele dossier fiasco.
During the Russian collusion hoax, the FBI used the fake news Steele dossier as its underlying evidence to obtain a warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
In this case, what the FBI and Department of Justice likely do not want the public to see is that the stated goal of retrieving supposed classified documents was a sham.
The real goal of the warrant was in service of the January 6 investigation.
And the FBI and Attorney General Merrick Garland want to hide the political nature of this raid from the public.
