In an odd announcement, the Minneapolis field office of the FBI issued a social media post saying they intend to go after people who make and/or buy fake COVID vaccination record cards and “passports.”
Last week, the Biden administration said they would be taking an advisory role to major corporations to establish a nationally disseminated vaccine passport, but that it would not have the full authority of law via the federal government.
But late last week the FBI issued a warning to people against the use of fake vaccine passports.
“We’ve all seen friends posting their COVID19 vaccination cards on social media,” the Minneapolis branch of the FBI posted on social media. “If you make or buy a fake one to misrepresent your vaccination status, you endanger other people and may also be breaking the law.”
The FBI’s post read, “[T]he unauthorized use of an official government agency’s seal (such as HHS or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)) is a crime, and may be punishable under Title 18 United States Code, Section 1017, and
other applicable laws.”
The post ended with a call for reporting “suspicious” vaccine documentation.
Why This Is Important
If there is no federal law that mandates the use of a national COVID passport – and fraudsters refrain from using the official seals of the HHS or CDC, then no laws are being broken. Whether the fake documents themselves are ethical or not is irrelevant.
So, this brings forward the question of why – without any illegal activity taking place – the FBI would be collecting any information about a private sale transaction between parties.
The Biden administration has made it clear that they are going to let the private sector lead the way on creating the Orwellian documents and the private sector – woke and draconian – is set to require them as a requirement for Americans to be truly free. So, the mandate of these documents does not have the power of law.
This seems to be a vulnerability in the Great Reset with which our federal government is fully on board. It is going to create a deep and far-reaching “black market” for a variety of documentation – including COVID vaccination documents.
Shades of the late Soviet era are rapidly creeping into our culture.
